The EU Photovoltaic (PV) Technology Platform will hold its 4th General Assembly on 19 June 2009, in Vienna, Austria.

After 4 years in operation, the EU PV Technology Platform will present its achievements over this period. The event will give a complete overview of the current situation of the PV sector, including EU and national policies, market development, an update on research and technology and also a review of PV in developing countries.

Representatives of the EU Institutions as well as the Austrian Federal Ministries are expected to deliver speeches on this occasion. 200 European and Austrian stakeholders will be participating in this meeting, amongst other leading personalities from the research institutions and CEOs from Europe's leading PV companies, as well as Members of the European Parliament, the European Commission and the Austrian Federal Ministries.

Participation to this event is free of charge. The online registration page will open here during the first half of May 2009.

Austrian PV Conference

The Austrian annual PV-Conference will be held on 17/18 June 2009. For further information, please click here.


There will be an evening dinner for attendees of the Austrian Conference and participants of the international symposium who arrive the day before the General Assembly to allow networking between international and Austrian Stakeholders.

Date: 18 June 2009 at 19h00        

Venue: Oktogon am Himmel, Crossing of Himmelstrasse and Hohenstrasse, 1190 Vienna

There will be a bus shuttle to and from the evening dinner location. Meeting point is in front of the Austrian Economic Chamber (Wiedner Hauptstrasse 63, Vienna).
Bus to the Dinner leave at 18:00 & 18:30, return buses are at 22:00, 23:00, 24:00.

Admission to the international symposium and to the evening dinner is free of charge, registration is required.
